We were approached to supply a multi-room system for a house converted from old stables.
The main challenge for this job was allow the customer full remote access throughout the house but not to damage the old walls with any cabling.
The system spans a number of rooms including an en-suite, two floors as well as the garden.
We used a Bose lossless wireless link with a main controller in the upstairs lounge. This worked as a transmitter for the receivers in the other rooms. These were plugged into a zone amplifier and speakers.
For the bathroom we used hydro proof speakers (Speaker Craft Dual Tweeter Stereo) with the controller in the bedroom wardrobe.
For the bedroom we supplied and installed a 32” Panasonic LCD on a moveable wall bracket.
Throughout the garden environmental speakers were installed – also working from the remote control.
The PC in the study was linked into the zone amplifier so music and speakers could be shared between systems.
