We were approached to make a home cinema with the screen flush to the wall. Additionally all other equipment also had to be out of sight in a nearby room.
First, the wall was built out to become flush with the 50” plasma panel.
The system was based around an Onkyo Surround Sound Receiver. This allowed us to use existing Sky+ equipment and also to integrate with the other devices.
Infra red remote link was set-up with sensors in the equipment room and remote eyes in the cinema room for control.
We also linked the iPOD docking station in the office to the system so files could be accessed via the plasma screen.
